CHECKLIST FOR SCHENGEN VISA

KINDLY NOTE: ALL THE DOCUMENTS SHOULD BE ON A4 SIZE PAPER

ALL DOCUMENTS SHOULD BE IN ENGLISH

1. Valid Passport (issued within the last 10 years and with at least 6 months validity).
2. Copies of 1st page & last page of your passport & copy of previous Schengen visa, UK visa, US visa

(If you have any)

3. 02 recent photographs (not older than 6 months) on matt finish in color with white background and

face of the applicant must cover at least 80 % of the frame (35*45 MM and without glasses).

4. If the person is salaried:

A-Covering letter on plain paper.(mention your occupation & brief your details ) format will be provided

by us. Also provide same copies to all your family members )

B- Personal bank statement or bank passbook xerox copy of last 6 months on A4 size paper with

bank seal and stamp (the minimum balance should be Rs. 2 lacs per person).

(Other Financial documents- the form of FD, Investment Mutual Fund Statement, PPf A/C, Post

Office A/C Or Property Papers)

C- Salary slip of last 3 months signed and sealed by the company.

D- Leave letter from the company, signed and sealed by the company.

E- ITR – V with barcode for last 3 years. –

F- NOC – if government employee from their respective office as per their format.

5. If the person is a business owner:
6. Covering letter on company’s letterhead. (Mention that you are a businessman), format will be

provided by us. Also provide same copies to all your family members)

1. Personal bank statement or bank passbook Xerox of last 6 months on A4 size paper with bank

seal and stamp. (the minimum balance should be Rs. 2 lacs per person)

1. (Other Financial supporting documents i.e. FD, Investment Mutual Fund Statement, PPF

A/C, Post Office A/C Or Property Papers)

1. Current account (company bank account) bank statement of last 6 months with bank seal and

stamp on A4 size paper.

1. Company’s registration and license certificate.
2. Partnership deed , if the applicant is a partner
3. Company ITR – V with barcode for last 3 years.
4. Personal ITR – V with barcode for last 3 years.
5. If a person is a Broker:

A- Covering letter on plain paper (Mention that you are a broker (agent) and you work on

commission basis)

B- Personal bank statement or bank passbook Xerox of last 6 months on A4 size paper. With bank

seal and stamp (the minimum balance should be Rs. 2 lacs per person)

(Other Financial supporting documents i.e. FD, Investment Mutual Fund Statement, PPF

A/C, Post Office A/C Or Property Papers)

C- ITR – V with barcode for last 3 years.

D- If a person is a LIC agent than the license certificate is mandatory.

7. If a person is a student:

A- ID of school or college.

B- Original Bonafide certificate or Xerox copy of fee receipt with original stamp and signature of

the school or college.

8. If a person is retired:

A- Covering letter on plain paper (Mention that you are a retired person)

B- Personal bank statement or bank passbook Xerox of last 6 months on A4 size paper with bank

seal and stamp. (the minimum balance should be Rs.2 lacs per person)

A/C, Post Office A/C Or Property Papers)

C- ITR – V with bar code of last 3 years.

D- Retirement Proof

8. If a minor is travelling alone & someone is sponsoring his/her trip:

A- The applicant has to submit the Covering letter on plain paper, if he is above 18 years of age and

if minor, parents will have to submit the covering letter. (format will be provided by us).

B- The sponsoring person need to submit a notarize sponsor letter on 100 Rs stamp paper and get it

notarised.

C- The applicant’s parents should provide a no objection certificate on 100 Rs stamp paper which

should be notarized, mentioning that my child is travelling with somebody and I have no

objection with signature of both parents is required. Also a copy of parent’s passport’s 1st and last

page or any other ID proof.

D- Sponsorer’s updated Bank statement of last 6 months with bank seal and stamp (the minimum

balance should be Rs.2 lacs per person)

E- ITR – V with barcode of last 3 years of the sponsorer.

9. If a person is Housewife and travelling alone

A- Covering letter on plain paper (Mention that you are a housewife)

B- Personal bank statement or bank passbook Xerox copy of last 6 months on A4 size paper with

bank seal and stamp—the minimum balance should be Rs. 2 lacs per person.

(Other Financial supporting documents i.e. FD, INVESTMENT MUTUAL FUND

STATEMENT ,PPF a/c, post office a/c or property papers)

1. ITR – V with barcode for last 3 years.

D- NOC from husband on 100 Rs stamp paper and notarise the same

E- If sponsored by husband, then sponsor letter on a 100 Rs stamp paper and notarise

the same.

F- Marriage Affidavit or Marriage Certificate

G- If wife is a widow -Death Certificate of the husband.

C- If a person is doctor / CA / Lawyer

1. Covering letter on letter head (Mention that you are a doctor by profession)
2. Personal bank statement or bank passbook Xerox of last 6 months on A4 size paper.

(the minimum balance should be Rs.2 lacs per person) with bank seal & stamp on each page.

A/C, Post Office A/C Or Property Papers)

1. ITR – V with barcode for last 3 years.
2. Degree certificate.
3. Registration certificate.

Please Note That the Mission reverses the right to ask for additional documents or personal

appearance forinterview in special case. Submission of the above-mentioned documents does

notguarantee that visa is a granted .Submission of incomplete documentation or refusal to appear for

a special visa interview may result in the rejection of your application.
